Harmony Hill – This is a wonderful retreat center, set on the Hood Canal. The offer free, 3-day retreats for individuals with cancer and their caregivers 1-2 times a month.
Get Palliative Care – This is a great website, with a comprehensive list of all sorts of resources.
The Conversation Project – Started in 2010, this organization offers materials and support in how to talk with loved ones about end-of-life.
On the Death of a Spouse – This is an article written by an oncologist. He reflects on the death of his wife, and how the experience changed him as a doctor.
UW Palliative Care Center for Excellence – This website offers information about the Center itself, as well as resources for the community.
5 Wishes – A process for creating a living will that addresses your personal, emotional, spiritual and physical needs. The 5 Wishes asked help you describe how you want to be treated when the end-of-life comes.
End-of-Life Conversations – The New School at Commonweal has created a space where stories about end-of-life can be shared. This page offers more than a dozen podcasts of people sharing their stories.
