I have been playing with The Mother’s Wisdom Deck recently. This quote pulled on my heart the other night:
What does it take to forgive the past, embrace the future, and, with all tenderness, be naked in the now?
I love the way this is worded, to be, with all tenderness, naked in the now. Another way to say it, perhaps, is what do you need to allow yourself to be seen in all your vulnerability, to acknowledge your own perfect imperfections, the wabi sabi of your own being?
For after all, it is in the cracks and imperfections that our truest beauty shines through.
